CSR activity of 2017

“Let us share the joy of loving by doing small things with

great love” - Mother Teresa

Following this great saying by Mother Teresa, we decided to do something very small but with love
and devotion. As part of our CSR activity, on 29th December 2017, we visited Nirmala Shishu
Bhavan which is the children’s home opened by Mother Teresa in 1955 for abandoned street
babies and children. We reached the venue at 8:30 in the morning which is the breakfast time for
children. We provided food and blankets to the children and played with them afterwards. Our

eyes were filled with tears while we were providing the children as we recalled that they were left
alone in this world. However, at the same time, we experienced peace as the above saying of the
Holy Mother reverberated in our hearts. We realized that the children are not only under care by
the sisters but are also looked after by The Almighty. In this small activity we wish to echo Mother
Teresa’s words– “I’m just a little pencil in His hand”.

We also visited children with special needs in the
same building and distributed food and warm
clothes. It was a heart-warming experience for us.

Lastly, we went to Mothers House to pray
and seek blessings before her holy tomb.
We prayed to provide us with the
strength to conduct more activities
